Step into a storybook winter setting in Oak Creek Canyon for our December Chamber Mixer, hosted by Don Hoel’s Cabins & Wedding Venue. A Sedona landmark since the 1920s, Don Hoel’s has recently been lovingly revitalized with the mission of bringing the heart back to the canyon. Nestled among the pines on 26 acres of private creek-side property, this historic resort—home to 20 unique cabins, a wedding venue, coffee shop, and gift store—will be glowing with holiday charm.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as twinkling lights bring the historic log cabins to life and connections spark among Sedona and Verde Valley business leaders around the fire pit. Enjoy festive refreshments, explore holiday gifts, and celebrate the season with music, a Nutcracker performance, networking, raffles, and plenty of holiday cheer.

Dress Warm & Cozy

This event will take place both outdoors and indoors, so we encourage guests to dress warmly in their favorite winter layers—scarves, hats, and all your cozy holiday cheer. Don Hoel’s will have outdoor patio heaters and multiple fire pits throughout the lawn and gazebo area. The Reception Hall will also be open, along with a large heated event tent featuring a Holiday Lounge provided by Verve Events & Tents.

There will be plenty of seating and warm, dry spaces to relax, but we recommend comfortable shoes and festive layers so you can explore the property and enjoy the crisp canyon air and starry sky in comfort.

Parking Information:


There are several parking areas available at Don Hoel’s. A parking attendant will be on-site to guide guests upon arrival. You’ll find a designated lot at the first entrance on your right—about 200 yards before the coffee shop and main entrance—as well as an additional lot directly across from the coffee shop. There is also intermittent parking throughout the venue. Parking areas will be marked with signs and cones, and the attendant will direct you to the best available spot. Carpooling is recommended if possible.

We are offering a complimentary shuttle from Uptown, courtesy of Wine Tours of Sedona. If you’d like to reserve a shuttle seat, simply email me directly with your name and the number of riders—this will help us finalize the number of vans and their timing.
