SUMMARY:Sedona Memorial Day Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Sedona Area Veterans and Community Outreach (SAVCO) proudly invites the community to attend Sedona’s 2026 Memorial Day Ceremony at the Posse Grounds Pavilion\, located at 505 Posse Ground Rd\, Sedona\, AZ. Everyone is welcome to join this special event. To ensure a smooth experience\, attendees are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins for parking and seating.\nCeremony Details\n\nThe Memorial Day Ceremony will be held on Monday\, May 25th. Proceedings will begin at 8:30 AM with a Skymaster flyover\, piloted by SAVCO Navy veteran Thomas McPherson. The event will feature retired Army Colonel Al Cornell\, a long-time Sedona resident\, as the guest speaker. Attendees will also enjoy musical performances by the Red RockAppella Ensemble and a bugle presentation by Ron Wright. The ceremony is expected to last between 35 and 40 minutes\, offering a heartfelt tribute to those who gave all.\nPost-Ceremony Activities\n\nFollowing the ceremony\, the Elks Lodge off Airport Rd will host a lunch for $15 per person. Entertainment will be provided from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM\, giving attendees an opportunity to continue honoring Memorial Day in good company.
