2026 Week of Service

Description

We are excited to share the upcoming 2026 Week of Service, taking place January 13–19, 2026, a community-wide initiative. The week brings together residents, visitors, nonprofits, and municipal partners for 11 volunteer events, including the January 14 morning cleanup at Posse Grounds Park in partnership with Sedona Parks & Recreation.  Even small acts of support — joining an event, inviting a team, or simply helping circulate opportunities — make a visible and positive impact. Through Volunteer Sedona & the Verde Valley, 834 new volunteers signed up and contributed more than 2,500 hours of community service, and our nonprofit partners posted 245 volunteer events on our calendar. It was a strong first year, and we’re looking ahead to 2026 with a focus on group volunteer engagement, inbound visitor participation, and youth outreach for even greater impact. Let’s find opportunities to collaborate and continue building volunteerism — and voluntourism — as a true community strength for Sedona.
