Art in the Appleshed
Saturday, January 17, 2026 (7:30 AM - 2:00 PM) (MST)
Description
“Art in the Apple Shed” will feature artists at work in all sorts of media—oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and even charcoal. The artists’ subject matter will include plein air, still life, animals, portraits, abstract, and representational works. Visitors will have an opportunity to visit with painters at work to learn about their artistry. Artists will be selling their works during the event.
While you visit, you’ll be entertained with chamber music provided by the Ferchoff Sisters, who will perform in three thirty-minute sets. Additional youth musicians will be added to the schedule throughout the day.
“This community event is exactly what Sedona needs,” said Skip Daum, founder of TAC. “It brings together seasoned and young artists demonstrating their considerable skill for the benefit of our residents and visitors. It’s part of my effort to revitalize Sedona through art.”
Admission to the Sedona Heritage Museum will be free for the day. The Museum will operate its normal hours, 11 am to 3 pm, but visitors are encouraged to come early, stay late, and enjoy the art. Art in the Apple Shed is produced by TAC. The event is a collaboration between the Museum and TAC. The Artists Consortium was founded in 2024 by Skip Daum and seeks to bring artists together in a public forum.
