Specifically designed for young adventurers aged 6-15, this 4-hour course is packed with wilderness-style games, age-appropriate first aid skills, and essential environmental awareness.

Wilderness-Style Games: Get ready for fun and learning! Our WFA JR class features interactive wilderness-style games that teach teamwork, navigation, and outdoor safety in an engaging way.
Age-Appropriate First Aid Skills: Participants will learn basic first aid skills tailored to their age group. From treating minor cuts and bruises to understanding when and how to seek adult assistance, this class empowers young adventurers to respond confidently to common outdoor injuries.
Environmental Considerations: Understanding and respecting the environment is crucial for safe outdoor exploration. Through hands-on activities and discussions, participants will learn how to minimize their impact on nature while enjoying outdoor adventures.
Scene Safety: Safety always comes first! Our instructors will teach participants how to assess scene safety and recognize potential hazards, empowering them to make informed decisions to keep themselves and others safe during outdoor activities.
Recognizing Big vs. Little Injuries: One of the most important skills in wilderness first aid is knowing when to seek help. Participants will learn to differentiate between minor and more serious injuries and understand when to call for assistance or dial 911. Through hands-on scenarios, they’ll gain the confidence to take action and get help when needed.
