Hazardous waste: household batteries, including AAA, AA, C, D, 9-volt, rechargeable, and button batteries (no lead acid or vehicle batteries) Electronics—Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) TVs or monitors (a maximum number of 20 CRTs will be accepted). First come first served. CDs/DVDs, Credit card machines, Desktop and laptop computers, Fax machines, Flatscreen computer monitors, flatscreen TVs, floppy drives and hard drives (External hard drives, flash drives), Microwaves Other computer equipment (docking stations, keyboards, mice, metal computer racks, modems, routers, servers, switches, and access points for WIFI), other small electronics (power AC adapters, calculators, cameras, remote controls, and tablets), other small household appliances (blenders, coffeemakers, and hairdryers), phones (cell phones, office phones, and conference phones), power cables and cords (extension cords and power strips), and power tools (batteries may stay attached). Printers and scanners, Radios, Security cameras, Vacuums, VHS/DVDs and players, Video game equipment, wires Paper documents for shredding (a limit of 4 boxes per vehicle). Only paper will be accepted—no cardboard, card stock, credit cards, etc. It is okay to include paper clips, binder clips, staples, rubber bands, and hanging file folders Medical Waste—Expired vitamins, Over-the-Counter medications, Prescriptions, Sharps What waste is not accepted? Ammunition and fireworks, Bulky items such as furniture, Car or other vehicle batteries, Commercial business waste, Explosives, Hazardous waste, Motor oil, Radioactive materials including smoke detectors, tires. Or any other items or hazardous waste not listed in the acceptable items list.
